an art project for the longest time ago. in my sixth grade homeroom, we were asked to visualize our strengths. i think i misunderstood the assignment, because all my classmates just threw a bunch of stock photos onto a slideshow lol
So I've really been trying to raise my digital art game because I've been a traditional artist most of my life. I'm trying to reach Loish level with color at least. Also, I love the fall season and the chill in the air it brings
I don't usually post my instagram art here, but, why not? I actually did this for a #DTIYS challenge of my own. I felt a melancholy mood approaching along with the cooler nights and fallen leaves around my neighborhood.
Im terrible at naming my work, lol. Anyways, I used different techniques so it looks much softer and more comfortable. Didn't change much just some little details, like how im using blur and some blending modes. I like how the color palette came out to be, so in general im giving myself a pat on the back for this one. But still I can't get rid of the feeling that all the stuff im doing look kinda unfinished or at least I have a feeling that they miss something. So if you have ANY tips or comments, I would love to hear them. I just want to know how to improve and what to work on.
This is a drawing of Tobio Kageyama, the genius setter from the anime 'Haikyuu!!' This took me 2-3 hours I think XD?? If you like this drawing , then you can buy it from this website: https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/59179456
Im trying to create some characters and work on worldbuilding, so often im drawing them in different environment to explore more about them, the universe they are in and the relationships between them. I actually should credit james firnhaber (check out his art its amazing) , his work was a direct inspiration for this one. I can even say more of a reference, but I love the result, so i'll just leave it here.
